It’s literally been years since I’ve written a diary here on DK, but I felt the need after reading how the New York Times equated Planned Parenthood with the criminals fraudulently editing videos.
In a story about another potential government shutdown over Planned Parenthood funding, the Times continued its slide to mediocrity with this gem of a Faux Newz lie of omission paragraph:
“After videos surfaced last year that critics said proved some Planned Parenthood clinics had been selling fetal tissue for a profit, a charge the organization denied, some outraged Republicans demanded the inclusion of a measure defunding it in last fall’s stopgap spending measure. But Republican leaders redirected those calls into a separate measure, ultimately moving forward on the temporary spending bill.”
No mention that Daledin and his co-conspirator were indicted. No mention that they had been caught deceptively editing the videos. No mention that Planned Parenthood was investigated in something like a dozen states and that...wait for it...none of them found any evidence of criminal behavior by Planned Parenthood. If the supposed librul (sic) Times is now Pravda in Times Square, there is practically no difference between it and Faux Newz.
