And here is where I tell you that I need your help. From all of you.
I learned when attending a MoveOn.org meeting that they are working to defeat Trump but couldn’t cite but a few of Hillary’s accomplishments. Someone in the audience said it is not enough to campaign against Trump. I listed a few of Hillary’s accomplishments and suggested they find a list of her achievements and memorize it. The organizer said he would like to have a list like that. So I started writing it. This list can also be useful for those of you wanting to know more about the 2 candidates beyond what you hear from the noise machine. And I think maybe it should be posted somewhere for free download as a pdf, and we should send it to reporters, but I keep getting side-tracked and can’t finish it. I have too much work at work and I am also busy with canvassing and other activities. I also went to a Trump protest and I can tell you that this list helped me, because I was approached by 2 Trump supporters who asked “WHY” I support Hillary, and I had the answers.
Here is a rant comment from article below that puts it all in perspective but I cannot use it in my canvassing efforts:
I feel like we're all living in a bad sci-fi movie. This is the Twilight Zone election. Nothing makes sense. A man with a long and well documented history of completely amoral, horribly self serving behavior, fraud, serial lying and cheating at every opportunity at the expense of anyone who gets between him and a buck, a mirror or a camera is sharing a debate stage with the most qualified presidential candidate in our modern history, with a long and well documented history of exemplary public service in and out of office and helping countless MILLIONS of people here and around the world. He doesn't rise to the hight of a piece of gum stuck on the bottom of her shoe, yet they are compared as if they were anywhere near the same class. And he could yet be our PRESIDENT. We've all gone nucking futs.
